West Bridgford WI was formed in June 1991

We are a friendly institute with a current membership of 60 and a mixed range of interest and ages

We meet at St. Paul's Church Rooms, Boundary Road, West Bridgford on the fourth Monday of each month at 8.00pm

Each month we enjoy an interesting speaker or demonstration followed by a  social time when we have coffee and time to chat

Visitors and new members are always welcome to our meetings.

In addition to our monthly meetings we enjoy a few extra activities and members are welcome to join in any of these groups:

• Darts Team
• Luncheon Club
•                                                                  Supper Club
• Drama Group
• Theatre Group

During the year we also arrange outings (eg Harrogate Flower Show, Denman, the WI college, and Chatsworth House and Farm Shop).  We also plan local visits to places of interest, coffee morning (to help funds), walks and social evenings, eg each year we arrange a skittles evening.

Husbands, partners, friends and other WI members are often invited to our social events.
